Join us to experience the perfect balance of trail running adventures and mindful movement - Yoga, Meditation, Trail Running, Pranayama and Coaching at our 4 day retreat

Daily yoga open to all levels, conditioning, toning, strengthening
Guided trail runs Saturday & Sunday through the Abernethy forest with views of the Cairngorms 
Daily meditation & guided relaxations to aide healing and that ‘zen’ feeling post-run
Confidence coaching -  empowering talks/workshops on connecting with your true nature, balancing energy and creating success
Delicious meals included from our onsite host and chef (3 per day)

Nestled within the Cairngorms wilderness and with easy access to Aviemore, the cottages offer the perfect escape for retreats. Unwind, stoke your fire, re-connect within and to the natural surrounding beauty, flow with your body's natural rhythms and breathe deeply. Go barefoot on the lawn, pick a hammock, toast your toes and slow right down. Allow your ears to ring with silence amongst the trees. Make yourself at home.  Polly, our host and chef by trade and loves to produce fresh, healthy food usually family style service and packed with flavour. We can provide full vegan/vegetarian menus and can throw in some wild venison from the neighbouring forests.

* 7am-8.30am: Energising Yoga Flow & Pranayama with Heather

* 9am: Breakfast

Hit the trails with Ian !

Day 1: Warm up

• Introduction to simple navigation fundamentals; setting the map, following paths, keeping track of progress.

• Gentle trail run, focusing on posture, cadence and technique using some barefoot running.

• 2pm: Late Lunch

• 6pm: Gentle Yoga Flow with Heather

• 7pm Dinner


 
Sunday 

• 7am-8.30am: Energising Yoga Flow with Heather

• 9am: Breakfast

• 10am - 3pm:

Hit the trails with Ian ! 

Day 2: Power Up! (nutritious home-made snacks packed for our day)

• Injury prevention workshop 

• Navigation; route planning for our run 

• Longer run along gorgeous trails including techniques for dealing with tricky terrain

• Stop off for a wild-swim on our return to cool & revive our hot muscles!

• 6pm: Restorative Yoga with Heather

• 7pm: Dinner

• 8pm: Fire Pit

 

Monday

• 9am: Restorative Yoga with Heather

• 10.30am: Brunch

• Check Out by 11am
