Well that is another successful weekend of skills training completed with a fab group of runners.
Saturday we had a Navigation for runners day, based around the forest trails in Rothiemurchus and Glenmore.
Sunday was Mountain Running Skills, with 80 mph gusts on Cairngorm the first important skill was looking at weather forecasts and coming up with a good plan that wasn't going to mean getting blown away!
We came up with a great route, through the forest and up onto the high ground west of Aviemore, bagging the Corbett Geal Charn Mor.
This gave us an opportunity to practice and build on all of the new navigation skills as well as working on our downhill running technique to keep us moving smoothly over rough terrain.
Somehow we managed to dodge the heavy showers and stayed dry all weekend.
Thanks team for a great weekend.
